Unisex washroom refurbishment at senior school

Princes Risborough School aspires to be the school of choice and has a mission that every student feel safe, valued and well supported. With this in mind, a student washroom was renovated during the summer holidays.

• Background

  The school had challenges with vandalism in toilets so decided to upgrade and recommission their toilets into a Unisex facility for the students. Unisex washrooms reduce bullying & help traffic flow at times of high usage such as at break times and lunch.

• Design

  We installed cubicles from Trovex’s full height privacy range which ensures full privacy for the comfort and safety of students. Solid-grade laminate cubicles are known for their durability – so last excellently in schools. There are minimal gaps under doors to ensure that phones and other items cannot be put through underneath. Half-height duct panels and hygienic wall cladding were installed for a low maintenance, easy-to-clean finish.

  It was important that the colour scheme of the washroom remained neutral so a smart grey and white scheme was chosen.

  The customer was very happy with the smart look of the new washrooms.
