When refurbishing all of the six washrooms, shower room and kitchen in a busy occupied office building, there were many factors to consider during the works. As the Directors office was situated in one of the adjacent rooms, careful project planning was even more important to eliminate disturbance. Our secret is to listen to the customer needs and design a flexible detailed works program to suit. To add to the variety of operational challenges, their company building surveyor spent the majority of the contract time “down south” – in the Antarctic!

Increased privacy and easy maintenance was the tender specification brief, so using our 20 years of experience, Focus Washrooms designed and manufactured the cubicles, vanity units, duct panels and even provided shower ‘pods’ complete with 25 year guarantee! These signature shower pods eliminate notorious shower tray leaks.
The key featured elements to facilitate easy cleaning are: solid surface vanity tops, wall hung WC pans and of course our own brand solid grade laminate and hygienic wall cladding– all of which can just be washed down, without fear of damaging the products.
We improved layout & increased the size of the men’s showers and changing area to provide much better user experience. This refurbishment completely transformed the building.
