Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle - Moliere Building

The Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle de Londres was established in 1915 to educate pupils in line with the French educational system. More than a century later, the renowned become cosmopolitan and one of the UK’s most highly-regarded independent schools. The school currently has over 4000 pupils of which 82% are French nationals, 9% British Nationals and the remaining 9% are of 48 different nationalities.

Therefore, for this comprehensive project the school needed facilities to withstand the busy traffic! School washrooms such as this get very busy, so Focus Washrooms specified products that are robust, vandal resistant, easy to clean and maintain and a beautiful design too. With a short lead-in time and only a 2 week on-site programme, this could only be achieved by using ‘own brand’ laminate and wall cladding – from stock!
Solid surface wash-troughs and Trovex S3:60 cubicles were installed, alongside with LED lighting and water heaters systems. The colour selection for the laminates are Iceberg White and Charcoal. Trovex Hygienic Wall cladding was added to the project giving the areas an astonishing hygienic finish. It’s also worth to mention that French piping had to be adapted for this project.
True to form and to the Guaranteed Completion Date promise, the facilities were ready for use when the pupils returned.
