Premium washroom refurb at stadium

Overview

The Surrey County Cricket Club, founded in 1845, is one of the oldest cricket clubs in the UK and has played at The Oval ever since its construction.

The Prince of Wales has been patron since 1915 and one of the stands is his namesake. Focus Washrooms were tasked with the male and female washroom refurbishment in this stand. We understand this is the washroom he would use when visiting!

  • The client wanted to improve the appearance of the washrooms due to high profile visitors. Our Project Consultants recommended a woodgrain scheme with grey tiles to achieve a smart and stylish look.

  • The project started with the full strip out of existing washrooms and a full replacement of all washroom components. Walls and floors were porcelain tiled, and new LED lighting and a suspended ceiling was installed. Then installation of the main washroom furniture commenced: Solid grade laminate (SGL) integrated plumbing system to conceal WC and urinal cisterns and pipework were installed along with cubicles from Trovex’s Universal range, and semi-recessed vanity units. We provided new sanitaryware from our large stock. In addition, we also redecorated the lobbies and completed timberwork throughout.

  • The project was finished on time and within budget and the client was very pleased with the finished washrooms.
