There are two main official accreditations to help visitors make an informed decision on where to holiday, which include the AA and Visit England Awards. Both of these recognised bodies operate a ‘5 point’ rating to show the level of quality of accommodation and both place importance on the inspecting and rating of your washroom facilities.

Visit England
The criteria for achieving Visit England ‘stars’ includes inspecting ‘the overall quality of the site, including individual pitches/caravans, the arrival service, bathroom and laundry facilities and external signage and lighting.’

AA Awards
AA accreditation for caravan parks and campsites are inspected and rated from one to five ‘black pennants’. ‘These are accessed on the quality and variety of facilities a park offers, including customer care and hospitality, toilet facilities and park landscaping.’
