Primary school toilet refurbishment with bright colour scheme

Overview

Working with the team at The Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle we upgraded the washroom facilities by improving existing washroom space. The school itself was established in 1915 to educate pupils in line with the French educational system and it is widely regarded as one of the best independent schools in the UK.

Over the last 25 years, we have developed a strong understanding of the requirements of this prestigious school and once again we worked in partnership with the school to minimise any inconvenience caused during the duration of this six-week-long project.

  • Separate Doc M disabled toilets | Free-standing island with storage | Trovex Diamond White Hygienic Wall Cladding

  • Elements of the design included the creation of a separate Doc M compliant disabled toilet which involved creating a new doorway and building walls to accommodate the new area.

Damp proofing and drain jetting were included in our scope of works, and the existing cramped duct voids demolished and replaced with a Trovex laminate accessible duct system for ease of maintenance.

  • We designed and installed storage cubicles for cleaning products and solid surface wash troughs incorporated within a bespoke free-standing island units for an impressive finish.

Focus listened to the customer so that a colour scheme was developed to provide a bright and engaging space.

The walls were finished with Trovex Diamond White Hygienic Wall Cladding for maximum hygiene which is important in high traffic areas and is increasingly becoming a preferred specification in schools.

  • The result is an impressively modern and contemporary space for students, which is robust, simple to maintain, and easy to keep clean for many years to come.
