Leisure centre changing room refurbishment

Poolside changing villages offer a challenge to the designer. With constant exposure to high levels of humidity and chemicals, the materials used must be up to the challenge. At the Faringdon Leisure Centre, we updated the toilets and poolside changing village.

  • Refurbishment of the existing poolside changing village including replacement of island cubicles, locker stands, vanity area, and installation of new shower panels. Full refurbishment of poolside Male, Female and Disabled toilets and showers.

  • Products were selected for longevity and robustness in this environment. Fully framed, powder coated, solid grade laminate cubicles combined with aluminium framed lockers with coordinating solid grade laminate doors and laminate benching offered the optimum results.

  • The pool remained open for the duration of the works so temporary facilities with safety matting were erected in a nearby squash court whilst the refurbishment was carried out. Avoiding disruption to the users of the facilities was key.

  • Poolside WC’s & showers | Poolside family changing village | Coordinating lockers

The appealing part of working with Focus is the fact that they manage all aspects of the project inhouse. They listen to the idea and deliver it, beyond expectation and to a high standard.

Their friendly admin team kept me well informed on the progress from start to finish. Faringdon Leisure centre needed a fresh look and Focus delivered.

The team were fantastic from start to finish and no request was too much. The response from the users have been extremely positive. I would highly recommend Focus for any washroom project.
