Primary school washrooms refurbished with bright colours

Overview

The summer washroom works at Ormiston Cliff Park Academy consisted of the refurbishment of 3 washrooms at the site, with bright colour schemes for a hygienic and welcoming feel.

  • The project commenced with the strip out of existing washrooms and then all elements of the washrooms were refurbished.

New ventilation was installed along with a suspended ceiling and LED lighting. All plumbing, electrical and painting work was included at this stage too. Then non-slip vinyl flooring was put down along with hygienic wall cladding on the walls as they are both easy to clean and maintain.

Durable solid-grade laminate cubicles, duct panelling and vanity units completed the main installation. We installed sensor hand dryers and refitted existing dispensers to complete the new washrooms.

  • In one of the washrooms, access to an inspection chamber wasn’t initially required. However, it was decided later on that access would be required – by which time the vinyl flooring had been laid.

We liaised with the Academy and the drain company management to revise the project programme to accommodate the unplanned work and minimise the extended time on the project.

“Another very successful project completed. The quality of work is phenomenal and the work ethic and flexibility of the team on site are a credit. ”
