Boarding school ensuite and washroom refurbishment in Surrey

Overview

At Box Hill School in Surrey, we refurbished 10 ensuite bathrooms in boarders accommodation, and one washroom with adjoining showers.

  • Each shower ensuite room was fitted out with: a toilet with a duct, a vanity unit with a wash hand basin and a large shower pod. The ducting was chosen in a warm ‘Woodland walnut’ colour to help the ensuite feel more homely.

The shower pods are made of GRP and are a complete shower unit consisting of tray, shower valve, door, light and extractor. These units do not rely on silicone sealing and are guaranteed for 25 years. They are a fantastic peace-of-mind product for all schools requiring showers.

  • The borders were living in the borders block during the project so careful programming ensured the ensuite works were carried out one floor at a time, minimising disruption.

  • The project was completed on time and we had positive feedback.

Very pleased with the work
